[Review] 2NE1 "Falling In Love"

Maybe YG Entertainment is trying to get its trash out early just to be done with it.  I'd like to think this is what went down during the production process of 2NE1's "Falling In Love":

YG: What the hell is this shit!?
Producer 1: Well, we were going for this kind of beachy concept when...
Producer 2: No, no no!  We specifically agreed we'd be continuing the urban concept!
Producer 1: Me agree to that!?  I keep trying to tell you that's a stupid idea!  It's summer.  What do people do in the summer?  They go to beaches!  Beaches, sand, fun.  Summer in a bottle.  And you know what raggae is?  Reggae is the closest embodiment to that.
Producer 2: That's only if you're not from the hood.
YG: So you thought that combining the two would be a good idea?
Producer 1: Err...well...well, Producer 3 didn't even write lines for Bom or Dara!
Producer 3: Ahh hell nah.  Don't even bring me into this.  As far as I know this was the only good decision of this video.  Did you even look at Bom or Dara?  Who the hell wants to see a feminine version of the Michelin Man or a Hyoyeon wannabe who looks worse that Hyoyeon.  You'd be thanking me later, bitches.
YG: So they're the reason the choreographer ran away screaming when she first arrived.  I really need to talk to Bom's plastic surgeon after this...
Producer 2: Well anyway, after trying to combine both concepts, we just ran out of money.
Producer 1: And who's fault is that?  As far as I know beaches don't require extra money for pool rooms of gold.  They just require some damn sand and a green screen.
YG: To hell with it all.  It's beyond repair at this point.  Just send it out and get your shit together for the next release.

Oh god, it's Park Bom...oh wait, it's just the Michelin Man.  But in all seriousness, her plastic
surgery has gotten out of control and will probably be a topic for a future discussion here.

I really hope that this conversation, or something similar to it, was the case for how this release went down.  I figure this can be the only case as this entire release is just a hodgepodge of conflicting concepts thrown together in the cheapest way possible.  Perhaps these are just the concepts that the production room thought were good ideas, but just ran out of singles that would act as canvases.  And with this, it would be logical to put this out so that it's easily remedied by stronger subsequent releases.  If this were the case then I'll look look forward to what's coming out next—otherwise this will be a painful string of 2NE1 releases during the next few months.

But seriously, there is nothing good about this single release at all.  If this were any group other than 2NE1, I wouldn't even bother saying something about this release because it is that cheaply put together on ever imaginable level.  It wouldn't be worth my time.  To hell with it, 2NE1 or not, this piece still isn't worth my time, as much as I'd like to rip it apart.  So I'm going to stop here.
